The Northwest Chocolate Festival 2008

Our Main Festival Center, Chocolate Talks & Workshops, and Open Air Tasting will be at the Ecotrust Building.

Accessible by Portland Streetcar (NW 10th and Johnson stop), by bicycle (generous outdoor parking spaces), by bus, on foot and with limited car parking, the Center is located in Portland's Pearl District on Northwest 10th and Irving streets. A former industrial area, the Pearl District is a fast-growing mixed-used neighborhood of converted warehouses, shops, galleries and new housing.
The Center has been acclaimed by civic leaders and has already gained recognition as an important contribution to the city's landscape, a unique blend of environmental innovation and historic restoration.

In the building connected with the Lawrence Gallery and the Fireworks Wine Bar, 10,000 Villages is a large retail store that will host our conversations and presenters on Fair Trade as well as hosting our Fair Trade Chocolate Tastings throughout the festival.
Our Culinary Workshops will be hosted at Whole Foods Market, Salud Kitchen in the Pearl District.

In the great community workshop and professional demonstration kitchen hosted by Whole Foods Market we will be bringing and presenting great chocolate recipes and culinary techniques all weekend! Include a couple of around the world chocolate tastings and you have a pretty good thing happening over here in the kitchen and in the palette.
