The Northwest Chocolate Festival 2008Will be held in Portland, Oregon, September 12th-14th. Our Main Festival Center, Chocolate Talks & Workshops, and Open Air Tasting will be at the Ecotrust Building. Location: Ecotrust and the Jean Vollum Natural Capital Center Address: 721 NW 9th Avenue Accessible by Portland Streetcar (NW 10th and Johnson stop), by bicycle (generous outdoor parking spaces), by bus, on foot and with limited car parking, the Center is located in Portland's Pearl District on Northwest 10th and Irving streets. A former industrial area, the Pearl District is a fast-growing mixed-used neighborhood of converted warehouses, shops, galleries and new housing.
Our Fair Trade Education Center will be hosted at 10,000 Villages Fair Trade Crafts from Around the World Location: 10,000 Villages Address: 914 NW Everett St In the building connected with the Lawrence Gallery and the Fireworks Wine Bar, 10,000 Villages is a large retail store that will host our conversations and presenters on Fair Trade as well as hosting our Fair Trade Chocolate Tastings throughout the festival.
Our Culinary Workshops will be hosted at Whole Foods Market, Salud Kitchen in the Pearl District. Location: Whole Foods Market Address: 1210 NW Couch St In the great community workshop and professional demonstration kitchen hosted by Whole Foods Market we will be bringing and presenting great chocolate recipes and culinary techniques all weekend! Include a couple of around the world chocolate tastings and you have a pretty good thing happening over here in the kitchen and in the palette.

Our special Friday Evening Wine and Chocolate Taste will be held at the Ecotrust building location.
